27th September

There is good in everyone, how often have we heard it said. But how often do we see it. Mostly, we tend to look for the things we can criticise or the things that displease us. We can greet each other with honesty and harmony if we recognise that no one is pure or perfect. One thing is sure is that whatever our circumstances we do all have these nuggets of goodness within us that we should be trying to find. Every time you meet someone, think of it as a golden opportunity to find that nugget of joy and spirit that is shining in all of us.

“Be like the honeybee who gathers only nectar wherever it goes. Seek the goodness that is found in everyone.”

Mata Amritanandamyi: 27th September (Hindu guru and spiritual leader)
